Usage Information

One-Day Usage Policy

A $250 charge plus a $50 refundable deposit* (total due $300). Covers 6 hours of community center rental, and includes the use of the kitchen. The $50 will be refunded if time frame and cleanup parameters are met per the contractual agreement. If applicable, deposits are mailed by check to the point of contact within 7 – 14 days. 


When possible, request must be submitted at least 1 month prior to the date of the event. 


Saturday events must begin after 2:00 pm. 


Your event must provide a certification of general liability insurance coverage. See Insurance Requirements.  


An additional charge of $50 per day for audio/video equipment setup and usage.  

Community Center & Sanctuary usage for weddings & funerals

A $75 charge* with a $50 deposit. Covers a 3-hour use of the community center. This cost does not include a prepared meal. The 3-hour time-frame begins at the approximate arrival of the family when back from the interment site. The $50 will be refunded if timeframe and cleanup parameters are met per the contractual agreement.    If applicable, deposits are mailed by check to the point of contact within 7 – 14 days. 


Sanctuary: There is no charge*** for the worship service held at Asbury United Methodist Church if the appointed pastor of the church is utilized as an officiant or eulogist. (see worship service funeral guidelines).   


If the appointed pastor of the church is not utilized as officiant or eulogist, then a $75 charge applies for use of the sanctuary, and insurance is required (see insurance requirements). Worship service funeral guidelines still apply. (see worship service funeral guidelines).   

Insurance Requirements

A certification of general liability insurance coverage must be presented prior to the event with the following: 


  • Each Occurrence $1,000,000 
  • General Aggregate:  $3,000,000 
  • Personal & Adv Injury $1,000,000 
  • Products – Comp/Opp Agg  $3,000,000 
  • Damaged to Rented Premises $1,000,000 
  • Medical Exp (Any one person) $10,000
